A place where dreams and reality unite to create a stunning venue that is the perfect combination of traditional, and on-trend. From the moment I drove through the gates of The English Manor wedding venue for the first time, I knew this wedding venue was going to be pretty special. The drive into the venue is a long, winding, and graceful one, meandering past their charming gazebo, through their artfully landscaped gardens. Its quaint, romantic location gives it an otherworldly feel and gifts a sense that you are not in New Jersey any more! But you are, and The English Manor wedding venue is located in the historic Ocean Township, ideally located just off Highway 35 north. The guys there say that they’ll ‘bring your dreams to life, and considering just how special this place is, I believe ’em!
For your ceremony, you have the choice of indoors or outdoors, based on preference and the weather. If it were me, I would choose the outdoor wedding option every time, as the gazebo at The English Manor is just so pretty, and the gardens are immaculate. As a wedding photographer, I’m always looking for an amazing backdrop, and that gazebo is not the only handsome feature on the grounds of this New Jersey venue. It’s full of little, romantic hideaway spots for you to create some intimate big day moments with your photographer – gorgeous flowing waterfalls, a babbling brook, and a delightful little bridge that takes you up to the aforementioned wrought iron gazebo. Besides that, the garden is full of the freshest flowers of all kinds and colors, and you’re surrounded by the rich coastal air that fills this part of town.
One of the main takeaways you get from visiting The English Manor wedding venue for the first time is its olde-worlde charm. Not in a gaudy way, or stuffy or dusty. Just traditionally elegant, with an overall design that emits warmth and romantic enchantment. Its captivating, and I can see why so many couples choose to host their wedding there. And rest assured this New Jersey wedding venue may have a classical feel, but it is full of all the modern amenities and equipment you need to plan a wedding in 2021! From a state-of-the-art sound system to custom lighting, and a kitchen setup that Gordon Ramsey himself would be proud of!
Whether you host your wedding ceremony indoors or out, The English Manor has some beautiful spaces for you to party the night away in. Firstly there is a choice of cocktail locations, and again you can choose to be indoors or outside. The Garden Room is their indoor option, and it is decorated so exquisitely, using calming colors and the softest hues to create an ambiance that cannot fail to be elegant. However, if you want your guests to feel that ocean breeze, The English Manor wedding venue also has a contemporary (but in keeping) wooden decked area that is perfect for the warmer months and allows your wedding guests to enjoy the lush greenery of their stately gardens.
Then, the crescendo of The English Manor, and space I know their wedding and events team are very proud of, The Grand Ballroom. A room that can feel intimate or expansive, depending on your group size and preference. Majestically decorated to gift light and an air of luxury, the ballroom benefits from floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows that bathe the space in light, while Swarovski crystal chandeliers illuminate the room when the sun goes down. Once seated in this most elegant of rooms, your wedding guests will be treated to a feast of traditional culinary cuisine, with a modern twist, prepared by the executive chef and the expert team of The English Manor. And every one of their big day packages has a dedicated wedding team included, so you’ll get the full professional experience from this venue, whatever your budget.
