A captivating New Jersey wedding venue that cannot fail to charm and delight your loved ones. If you’re looking for an opulent get away from city life, then the Madison Hotel wedding venue may just be the once-in-a-lifetime destination for you. Less than an hour’s drive from New York City, this mansion-style estate is pure opulence and elegance, but with class. Featuring a fabulous greenery-filled conservatory, a magnificent ballroom, and immaculately cared-for gardens – this is a dream destination wedding location, that is actually on your doorstep.
The Madison Hotel wedding venue has seen it all and hosted some of the most elegant affairs imaginable over its 85-year history. It is a New Jersey landmark and one that I’m always so pleased to visit. The hotel may be mature, she may be wise, but she has kept up with the times and her overall decoration is so fresh, and flawless. The main location for wedding-related activities centers around their impressive English conservatory, a very grand and bright structure that can backdrop either your ceremony or reception. It is a very large room but made intimate by the venue’s expert use of fresh florals and an abundance of greenery hanging from the rafters. Alongside these hanging gardens are the most breathtaking chandeliers… they are almost too big to take in, and too heart-stopping to describe! Suffice to say, it is worth hosting your evening reception or cocktails in the conservatory for the chandeliers alone, trust me!
Ceremony Spaces at the Madison Hotel
If you long to celebrate your wedding in the grandeur of a ballroom, then the Madison Hotel will be only too happy to oblige. For they possess the most lavish of ballrooms decorated in swathes of gold and glitter, with crystal and gold antique Baccarat chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, and a dance floor that is calling to be your first dance backdrop! It is a room that is fit for a royal couple, and yet you can call it your own for the weekend! Now, if you name your reception room the Glynallynn Ballroom, you’re going to expect some amazing cuisine to be served, and The Madison Hotel wedding venue delivers on that too. They provide a silver spoon service as part of their wedding packages, and their experienced in-house executive chef is more than happy to tailor menus to suit their clients’ tastes. And when it comes to food, The Madison Hotel can also provide you with the perfect places to host your wedding rehearsal dinner, parents get-together or even post-reception brunch at either Rod’s Steak & Seafood Grille, or GK’s Red Dog Tavern. Both of which are more lavish, and pretty than they sound! In fact, Rod’s steakhouse has a brand-new design, with rich wood-paneled walls and highly polished brass, which lends a classic touch to the sophisticated atmosphere inside.
